Starting in 1982 with my recovery I began using the bits and pieces you were putting out at that time the Relapse Card etc, In 1986 or so I've been
using what I learned from "Staying Sober" by you and Merlene and increased my knowledge, thought patterns, and behaviors with just about everything you've done since then. Thank You

Since 1988, I have used the Gorski-CENAPS model for relapse prevention. I have found it to be the most useful, user friendly and comprehensive model available. I just finished work with an opiate
addict and we used this model from start to finish. He is moving to a different state but during our termination sessions we revisited all that he had identified as far as relapse warning signs
and high risk people, places and things. In addition to the work he completed using the Gorski model, he will maintain on Suboxone for a period of time. In addition, we/he set up a relapse prevention
network consisting of family and trustworthy friends to include a colleague. I cannot foresee a time when I would replace your model withanother. Thanks for all you have contributed to help me help
others.
